"The Discourse" 2D Animatic

Animatic made for an episode of ARC Studio's "The Discourse", an in-character news source within CCP Games' EVE Online. All scenes are completely 2d, and the only video asset used was the station background in the third clip.
Composed in GIMP and Adobe After Effects.

Triglav Alphabet Chart

A sheet designed to present the Triglave alphabet characters, seen in "Trinary Vault' videos released as a progressively evolving puzzle by CCP Games, in a legible and visually pleasing format. The chart was designed with the look of EVE Online's "Ship Tree" mode in mind, and was constructed in a visually similar manner to better mesh with an previously existing style.
Created with Gimp, using paths to construct each character. Created alongside a completed Triglavian font.

Drifter Dreadnought Design Kitbash

A kitbash and melding-together of various models to create an entirely new one, painted over to visualize effect concepts.
All 3D assets draw from Drifter “Battleship” and “Cruiser” models and textures, copyright CCP Games.

Drifter Shipline Proposal Key Art

A composition put together as key art for the "Drifter Ship Line" proposal listed under Game Design.
The turrets, "Battleship", and "Cruiser" models and textures are copyright CCP Games, and were manually reassembled in the 3d scene. The "Frigate" model was self-made (see below), and textured piecemeal from textures for the cruiser.
Scene composed and rendered in Blender 2.78b, and constructed & finalized with GIMP.
“Agency” Logo image, featured on CCP Games pages

A version of the Agency logo with smoke in its background, originally designed for use with the Agency Boosters post listed under game design projects on this site. Initially only intended for use in the boosters post, the image was picked up by CCP and used for both a Devblog and an Updates page for EVE Online.

War in Heaven : Triglav & Tyrannos Mashup

An image intended for use as a banner for a narrative design post (detailed in Narrative : Personal)
Composed in Gimp, using the promotional image from EVE Online’s Invasion: Chapter 1 expansion, an image of a “Drifter” character from senior character artist JaKob Falkenberg, the banner image for EVE Online’s Tiamat expansion, and a lens flare.

Animated Character Selection Screen Mockup

A design mockup of the EVE Character Selection screen, substituting the current static image background for a short video clip in order to demonstrate a possible style change. In past iterations, the main login screen for the game had an animated scene before logging in - but with the arrival of the new launcher, that functionality was lost.
Created in Adobe Premiere - character windows assembled using the UI assets used in-game.
Drifter Frigate - Concept Art and 3D Model

Created as a concept for a "Drifter" faction frigate for EVE Online, attempting to get a feel for their modeling style.
Concepts were done with pen-and-paper, and the Model was created with Maya.

Concept art depicting re-imagined versions of a ship type in the world of EVE, originally included in a post showing off said vessels.
Drawn traditionally by hand, using pen & pencil and paper, and colored using Copic marker.

Jove Directorate Mouse Mat Contest Submission

A submission for the EVE Online Fanfest 2018 Mouse Mat contest.
3D models and textures for removed EVE Online assets were reconstructed & rendered, then combined with a layered image scene created using a nebula seen in EVE as a backdrop.
Created using Blender, Gimp, and Photoshop CC.
